How to Become a Member of IBCA

Show Willingness to Join

Countries can show their willingness to join IBCA through Note Verbale.

Signing the Framework Agreement

Countries will become the member of IBCA by signing the Framework Agreement and having deposited an instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval to the Depository which is Ministry of External Affairs, Republic of India.

Framework Agreement will be signed in English. A copy of the same could be submitted in their respective language.

No Membership Fee

There is no membership fee to join IBCA.

Eligibility

All the UN member Countries are eligible to become member of IBCA.

Assistance

IBCA Secretariat shall facilitate in coordinating with the Ministry of External affairs, Republic of India Depository.
