The Framework Agreement on establishment of the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) has officially come into force from 23rd January, 2025. Headquarters Agreement signed between the Republic of India and IBCA on 17 April 2025.

Our Mission

Our mission at IBCA is to create a unified platform bringing together countries, conservationists, businesses, and scientists for big cat conservation. We focus on effective conservation tactics, knowledge exchange, and initiatives for the long-term survival and welfare of big cats globally. Our collaborative approach leverages diverse expertise for a significant, lasting impact on big cat populations. We engage with local communities, governments, and experts in research, education, and advocacy, ensuring these magnificent animals not only survive but thrive.
