The first ITEC programme of IBCA was conducted in Kaziranga National Park, India from 10th February 2025 to 16th February 2025.

The second programme will take place from 8 to 14 February 2026 in Bandipur and Nagarhole Tiger Reserves of India. Countries can upload applications on the ITEC portal online. More updates coming soon. All big cat range countries are requested to nominate 2 suitable officials to participate in this ITEC course. Officials who have already participated in the first batch may not be eligible for the 2nd time. The course is fully sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs. All the boarding and lodging will be arranged by IBCA and tickets will be booked by the Indian Mission in respective countries.
Please be informed the process of applying for ITEC course is online through the Indian missions in your respective country. You all need to submit your applications to the Indian mission in your respective country. Thereafter, ITEC Coordinator in the mission will upload the information. Subsequently it gets in approval process. We request you to please copy us while forwarding your applications to the Indian missions in your country so that we can also follow up with them to expedite the process.

The Indian Regional Association of Landscape Ecology Annual Conference is scheduled to happen in Periyar Tiger Reserve, India from 26th to 28th February 2026. IBCA will be hosting a pre-summit event in collaboration with IRALE on 28th February 2026. More updates will be coming soon.

On 3rd March, to celebrate the World Wildlife Day, IBCA is likely to conduct an event. Updates on this will be shared soon.

A one-week international veterinary training and capacity-building programme on big cat health management, PRIME-CAT (Programme for Integrated Management & Excellence in Big Cat Health) to be jointly conducted by IBCA and GZRRC, tentatively in March 2026. The course is open for national and international participants. Final dates will be informed soon..

The 6th Conservation Asia Congress will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 3–5 June 2026 at Royal Tulip Kathmandu.
Theme: 'Harmonising Biodiversity and Human Well-being in Asia'.
IBCA will participate in this major regional congress.

The programme is being conceptualised as an annual capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the technical competencies of wildlife veterinary professionals and field practitioners from India and other big cat range countries.

Governments are requested to nominate 2 suitable officials to participate in this course. The course is fully sponsored by International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) and Greens Zoological, Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre Society (GZRRCS)-VANTARA.

Nominated candidates need to submit their applications to IBCA by 20 February 2026. The application form is available on the IBCA website.
